Complaints channel

The new reporting platform is now available on the dstgroup website. Its main objective is to prevent and/or detect crimes or offences that violate European Union rights.

This platform has been created to strengthen existing internal control mechanisms, focusing them on the prevention of risks of all types of infringements.

The dstgroup reporting channel protects the identity of the whistleblower and allows them to contact us anonymously, if they so wish, to report any violation of European rules.

When did it come into force?

According to Law No. 93/2021, of 20 December (‘Law’), which transposed Directive (EU) 2019/1937 of 23 October 2019 on the protection of persons who report breaches of European Union law into Portuguese law, entities employing 50 or more workers are required to have a reporting channel in place in order to detect and prevent any irregular practices.

How does it work?

Reports of violations are first submitted by the whistleblower through internal reporting channels, and only then through external reporting channels.

Is the complainant protected?

Reporters are entitled to general legal protection and may also benefit from witness protection measures in criminal proceedings.

Types of violations

    Financial services, products and markets, and prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing;
