The company states that the aim of this extension is to contribute not only to retaining the population, but also to creating new opportunities for the region, thereby increasing economic and social benefits.
It should be noted that the telecommunications wholesaler had already invested in the municipality, bringing connectivity to a total of around 9,500 homes.
Residents of these parishes can now check the availability of fibre coverage in their homes by sending an email to euquerofibra@dstelecom.pt or calling 800 910 660, providing their full address and, ideally, GPS coordinates.
