dstelecom has announced that its fiber optic network has just reached more than 1,700 homes in the municipality of Albufeira, in the parish of Paderne, providing access to telecommunications services with higher speeds, greater bandwidth, better coverage and higher quality.
But the intervention does not stop there: by the end of the first quarter, the company will strengthen coverage in the municipality with around 1,000 new homes. In total, around 2,700 families will be able to benefit from state-of-the-art connectivity.
As the main operators in Portugal provide their services to end consumers through dstelecom’s infrastructure, families will have freedom of choice when subscribing to television, internet and telephone services.
The population can already check the availability of fibre coverage in their area by sending an email to euquerofibra@dstelecom.pt with their full address and, ideally, GPS coordinates. Alternatively, they can also call 800 910 660 free of charge.
