At the center of the topics discussed was the second sensor-equipped submarine cable in Portugal, which the Portuguese-American consortium, led by dstelecom, recently installed near the port of Sesimbra, with the support of the Portuguese Navy. 🧵🌊
Earthquakes, tsunamis, marine fauna, pollution, vessel traffic, submersibles, and water temperature are part of the wealth of data that can be captured in real time through this infrastructure.
