To understand the impact of our infrastructure on the hospitality sector, we travelled to Vila do Bispo, a municipality covered by our fiber network, where we spoke with Fernando Gonçalves, manager of Pure Fonte Velha B&B.
“We live in an increasingly connected world, across multiple devices, and without fiber optics this would simply be impractical.”
For Fernando, not having fiber-optic service at his property could put the success of the business at risk.

According to Fernando, the pandemic itself helped create new consumer habits.
“Today, especially following the pandemic, fiber service is virtually essential to our offering. We increasingly welcome guests who work remotely and regularly take video calls, for which good internet quality and coverage are absolutely crucial.”
In conclusion, Fernando Gonçalves highlights:
“In the future, with the growth of remote work, there will be an increasing demand for spaces with fast and reliable internet, both for work and leisure.”
