Network Technical Support Supervisor

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop supervision, diagnosis and technical support activities for telecommunications networks, involving software and diagnostic tools use;
  • Perform technical activities:  evaluating, controlling, testing, monitoring, maintaining and operating telecommunications equipment;
  • Supervise, configure, operate and monitor client, LAN and WAN network systems;
  • Perform activities related to quality control, continuously assessing the operation and performance of the area;
  • Encourage and participate in multidisciplinary work groups aim at consolidating the innovation process;
  • Comply with and enforce applicable procedures and work instructions;
  • Comply with and enforce safety, hygiene and health standards established by the company;

 

Requirements:

  • Telecommunication engineering (preferably);
  • Competencies of systems, networks and equipment (switchs, routers, etc.);
  • Knowledge in FTTH network topologies;
  • Knowledge at the level of DWDM, IP / MPLS and GPON technologies;
  • Capable of communicating effectively and efficiently;
  • Spoken and written English (preferably);
  • Availability to work in rotating shifts;
  • Motivation and ability to operate without direct supervision.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
