To date, there are already more than 2,600 homes covered by dstelecom's optical fiber network. In total, 7 locations have access to the digital highway.

The infrastructure is installed in the towns of Ferreirim, Granjal, Penso, Quintela, Sarzeda, Sernancelhe and Vila da Ponte, revealed the telecommunications wholesaler. Therefore, the citizens who live in them can benefit from telecommunications services with faster speed, better coverage and higher quality, thus eliminating the barriers of time and space.

The installation of optical fiber in Sernancelhe meets dstelecom's purpose of bringing optical fiber to areas of the country where there is a greater digital need and contributing not only to the settlement of the population, but also to the creation of new opportunities for region.

As the telecommunications wholesaler's network is multi-operator and has all operators operating in Portugal, citizens will have freedom of choice when subscribing to television, internet and telephone packages.
