dstelecom has just extended its multi-operator fiber optic network to Entradas, in Castro Verde, thus ensuring that the population can contract telecommunications services with greater speed, bandwidth and quality.

By ensuring full coverage of the parish, the company says that the aim of this extension is to help boost local economies, create opportunities for commerce and tourism and facilitate access to remote working, health services and distance education.

With this reinforcement, there will be a total of around 3,500 families able to choose between the main telecommunications operators operating in Portugal that provide their services to the end consumer via this fiber optic network, including the population of the town of Castro Verde, which also benefited from the expansion of the infrastructure.
