dstelecom has just announced its arrival in Mangualde. According to the company, there are currently 5,400 homes covered by the optical fiber network, in Abrunhosa-a-Velha, Alcafache, Chãs de Tavares, Cunha Baixa, Espinho, Freixiosa, Lobelhe do Mato, Mesquitela, Moimenta de Maceira Dão, Póvoa de Cervães, Quintela de Azurara and Santiago de Cassurrães.

Families in these locations are now in a position to contract telecommunications services with more speed, greater bandwidth, better coverage and higher quality, from any telecommunications operator operating in Portugal.

In the statement, the company added that this expansion is aligned with the purpose of bringing optical fiber to areas of the country where there is a greater digital need and contributes, not only to the retention of the population, but also to the creation of new opportunities for the region, becoming a reason for attraction and thus increasing economic and social benefits.

Consumers can check the availability of fiber coverage in their area by accessing here or sending an email to euquerofibra@dstelecom.pt with their full address and, ideally, GPS coordinates. Alternatively, you can also speak to your telecommunications operator.
