Optical fiber already reaches 3 locations in Porto de Mós, announced dstelecom. In a statement, the wholesale telecommunications operator responsible for the construction, management and maintenance of the infrastructure added that this data highway passes through Alcaria, Alqueidão da Serra and Alvados, in a total of more than 1,600 homes. Furthermore, dstelecom revealed that, in the coming months, it will bring optical fiber to another 1,200 homes, in São Bento and Serro Ventoso.

According to the company, the existence of a fiber network in the municipality is essential, as it will contribute not only to the reduction of regional asymmetries, but also to the settlement of the population and the creation of new opportunities in the region.

As all operators operating in Portugal make their services available to the end consumer through the dstelecom infrastructure, Portomosenses will have freedom of choice when subscribing to television, internet and telephone services.
