The telecommunications company, which builds and manages multi-operator optical fiber networks, added, in a statement, that its infrastructure has the capacity to serve more than 4,300 homes in the municipality.

Since all operators operating in Portugal make their services available to the end consumer through dstelecom's fiber network, people from Mertolen have complete freedom of choice when subscribing to television, internet and telephone services.

According to the wholesale operator, its installation in Mértola is aligned with the purpose of bringing optical fiber to areas of the country where there is a greater digital need.
