dstelecom takes optical fiber to the municipality of Odemira

By the end of July, 13 thousand houses in the municipality of Odemira will have the opportunity to take advantage of dstelecom's fiber optic network.

Despite the slowdown felt due to the pandemic period that we are going through, 70% of the houses are already available to join the broadband service in Boavista dos Pinheiros, Longueira / Almograve, São Salvador, Santa Maria, São Teotóneo (including Zambujeira do Mar) and Vila Nova de Mil Fontes.

In the next 2 months, in addition to reinforcing the parishes already mentioned, the network will reach São Luís, thus guaranteeing conditions so that telecommunications services can be contracted with more speed, greater bandwidth, better coverage and higher quality.

For this, the consumer can already check the availability of fiber network coverage at his address at www.dstelecom.pt/network-and-coverage.

According to dstelecom, this expansion, in line with the purpose of bringing optical fiber to locations with less population density, contributes, not only to the settlement of the population, but also to the creation of new opportunities for the region, becoming a reason attraction and thus increasing economic and social benefits.
