At the moment, there are already more than 3,000 homes covered by the dstelecom digital highway. In total, 5 locations have optical fiber telecommunications services.

According to the wholesale operator, the infrastructure is installed in the locations of Argozelo, Caçarelhos, Carção, Santulhão and Vimioso, which thus benefit from more speed, better coverage and higher quality in their telecommunications services. Furthermore, since all operators operating in Portugal make their services available to end consumers through this optical fiber network, citizens will have freedom of choice when subscribing to television, internet and telephone packages.

Remember that dstelecom's purpose is to bring optical fiber to areas of the country where there is a greater digital need and contribute not only to the settlement of the population, but also to the creation of new opportunities for the regions it serves. At the moment, the company covers more than 770 thousand homes in 140 municipalities, but hopes to reach 1 million homes by 2024.
