dstelecom achieves 99% in GRESB and strengthens its position among Europe's most sustainable operators

dstelecom has just been ranked in the Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark (GRESB) 2025 as the second most sustainable fiber network operator in Europe, with a score of 99% and the maximum 5-star rating.

The company also achieved 1st place in Performance Score (among 651 entities), a result that assesses the practical impact of the ESG actions implemented.

An international benchmark result

GRESB is an international organisation that has been providing standardised and validated data on Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) criteria to financial markets since 2009. Its assessments have become a global benchmark for sustainability, analysing thousands of companies in different sectors every year. dstelecom voluntarily submitted to this assessment, reinforcing its commitment to transparency and continuous improvement of its practices.

The methodology assesses aspects such as energy efficiency, greenhouse gas emissions reduction, resource management, diversity and inclusion, health and well-being at work, as well as transparency and good governance practices. Achieving 99% in this global benchmark means being aligned with the highest international standards, projecting dstelecom as a European example of good sustainability practices.

Sustainability as a strategic commitment

At dstelecom, sustainability is an integral part of our business strategy. It is present at all levels of the organisation, from the way we manage resources to the value we place on people and the transparency of our practices. This integrated vision ensures that the company's growth is achieved in a responsible manner, creating value for the sector, society and the environment.

Looking to the future

The GRESB 2025 result is not a point of arrival, but rather an incentive to go further. dstelecom is committed to continuing to evolve, investing in more efficient solutions, strengthening inclusion policies and developing practices that respond to major global challenges. The goal is clear: to consolidate sustainable leadership in the telecommunications sector in Portugal and Europe.
