The Bitstream service is a latest-generation wholesale connectivity solution, designed to enable retail operators to provide fixed telecommunications services in a transparent manner to end customers. With advanced Quality of Service (QoS) parameters, it supports the flexible provision of broadband Internet services through a wide range of bandwidth profiles, as well as Voice over IP (VoIP) and high-definition television services, both live and on-demand.

The dark fiber PON service is an FTTH infrastructure access solution that allows retail operators to implement and operate their own fiber optic access networks using a neutral and independent passive infrastructure. From a single connection point per point of presence/network exchange, retail operators are offered the activation of multiple fiber accesses at different PDOs (within the point of presence’s area of influence).

The service includes the rental of dark fiber in the access network component, corresponding to the fiber between the point of presence/network centre and the end customer’s premises, and can be provided in a PON network topology, using 1:16, 1:32 or 1:64 splitters.

This solution provides a high degree of control and autonomy in the provision of the service, maintaining neutrality and transparency in the use of the network. It is designed to facilitate technical integration with retail operators’ networks and enable rapid, consistent growth at scale, ready for future technological developments.

Point-to-point (P2P) connectivity service that provides Layer 2 Ethernet, with high protocol transparency, established between two points on the dstelecom network. The service can be provided in VLAN-based or Port-based models, supporting 1 Gbps or 10 Gbps interfaces, ensuring high performance, reliability and flexibility in integration with customer networks.

This service is particularly suitable for use cases such as access network backhaul, connection between exchanges or network nodes, as well as for redundancy and high availability scenarios, enabling the construction of resilient and scalable architectures.

Dark fiber optic provision service in point-to-point (P2P) topology between buildings covered by the dstelecom network, providing operators with total flexibility and autonomy to develop and operate their own services, interconnections and network architectures in a neutral and independent manner. 

The offer is structured in two segments (access and backbone) and can be made available in single fiber or fiber pair modes, adapting to the specific needs of eachscenario. The service includes termination options that facilitate interconnection in CO/POPs, ensuring efficient and rapid technical action. 

The service for accessing and using passive infrastructure (ducts, manholes and poles) for housing fiber optic cables and telecommunications equipment promotes the efficient and sustainable use of existing infrastructure through intelligent and responsible use, reducing the impact on the territory resulting from the proliferation of network infrastructure. 

This offer allows operators to expand their networks under non-discriminatory conditions and through clear processes, taking advantage of all the synergies of existing infrastructure.
